The Columbus Blue Jackets and Marathon Petroleum Company LP (MPC) announced the renewal and expansion of their multiyear corporate partnership. MPC is headquartered in Ohio and has been a team partner since the 2006-07 National Hockey League season.

1. This a fresh new take on a the traditional trophy case or "wall of fame." This should be a consistent attraction on the concourse. This is the type of attraction where fans will want to come back every once in a while and look for their hat as hat tricks are added. Having that residual attraction is key.
2. Visually, we love the use of the overhead signage to make the space look like Marathon stores.
3. If you are going to create a static concourse display, give your fans a consistent reason to stop. Build the space in a way that it can be updated throughout the season or after each season. If you show the sponsor that recurring impact, it will be something that they take ownership of and become synonymous with.
